Cornell sophmore and Lansing high school graduate Travis Dake celebrates after notching the first fall of the day against Iowa State. Dake started off the on the mat after Cornell took the first match via an Iowa State forfeit at Newman Arena. Cornell took revenge for an Iowa State win last year 24-13 with a 30-16 win today. It also marked head coach Rob Koll’s 200th career victory. I had a great morning shooting Waverly High School wrestlers, taking a break for a soft pretzel and checking out the campus then returning to Newman Arena at 1pm for the start of the match. I also met some cool new photogs as well and was able to talk shop a bit. Good day all and all.
