The legendary rock band WINGER will perform a show at the “L” in Horseheads, NY on Sunday July 2, 2023. With hits like “Seventeen”, “Madalaine”, “Headed for a Heartbreak”, and “Miles Away”, Winger will be on tour supporting their newest album Seven. Winger has been on the charts since their debut self titled album, Winger, was released in August 1988. Wingers current line up includes original members Kip Winger – lead vocals, bass guitar, acoustic guitar; Reb Beach – lead and rhythm guitar, keys backing vocals; Rod Morgenstein – drums, percussion, backing vocals; Paul Tayor – Keyboards, rhythm and lead guitars, backing vocals; and John Roth (touring member) – lead and rhythm guitars, backing vocals, bass guitar.
ADDENDUM: John Roth will not be preforming this show as he is currently on tour with Starship featuring Mickey Thomas throughout the summer. Buffalo native Howie Simon will be performing with Winger as he is filling in for Roth. Locals might recognize Simon as he honed his chops playing with Ice Water Mansion beginning in 1989 for nearly a two year run then with his own band “Storm Warning” until he moved to LA in 1994. Simon’s resume is impressive as he has played with Alcatrazz, Jeff Scott Soto, Talisman, Gunnar and Matt Nelson and more.
